CNET is looking for an experienced, seasoned leader who has tremendous expertise with new media and transactional web environments. This Individual needs to have a passion for the commerce category, a deep understanding of the competitive universe, ability to identify and leverage partnerships and ability to create and articulate a compelling, differentiated mission for the mySimon brand. You will have a strong orientation towards optimization of the user experience, ability to leverage web 2.0 tactics (comfort with open source technologies, small nimble teams, iterative development, use of XML and diverse data aggregation, social networking/ community) to build user investment as well as keen sense for how to seamlessly integrate marketing opportunities into the product deliverable. You will have a deep understanding of the competitive universe, ability to identify and leverage partnerships, create and articulate a compelling, differentiated mission for the mySimon brand.
