TiVo Owners Under the Microscope Turns out that lots of Tivo ownersdidn't know they were being watched, either. I doubt this'll turn into any real controversy - Tivo didn't violate its posted privacy policy and the data isn't personalized. Indeed, I think it'll go the other way: it's another step that makes people swallow that they're being monitored and measured along pretty much every step of our electronic lives.
